Woudsend

Between the Slotermeer and Heegermeer lies the village of Woudsend. The unique historic center with its many narrow alleyways is definitely worth a visit. You can also find many good restaurants there.

Sloten

The smallest of our eleven cities, Sleat. A cozy village by the water. The city center boasts beautiful old residential houses and fortifications. The town has a rich maritime history, which is on display at the local museum.

Langweer

On the edge of the Langweerderwielen lies Langweer, an ancient village with a rich history. Especially in the summer, many tourists visit Langweer for the cozy atmosphere in the village and for sailing on the lake.

Sneek

Due to its central location in the Frisian lake district, Sneek is a true waterside city, with the famous city symbol being the Watergate. In addition to water sports and the Sneekweek, you will also find culture, conviviality, and delightful restaurants in Sneek.

Workum

The town is situated in the southwestern part of Friesland. Workum has something to offer for everyone. You can find cozy terraces here, and the famous Jopie Huisman Museum is also located in this town. You can also take a beautiful walk through the old town, where the many stunning monuments and facades line up next to each other.
