Workum

The town is located in the southwestern corner of Friesland. Workum has something for everyone. There are cozy terraces, and you can find the famous Jopie Huisman Museum here. You can also take a beautiful walk through the old center; the many stunning monuments and facades line up in rows next to each other.

Bolsward

One of the larger cities of the Frisian Eleven Cities. The old city center is definitely worth a visit with its canals, the town hall, the Sonnema Beerenburg distillery, and the Frisian brewery Us Heit.

Sneek

Due to its central location in the Frisian lake district, Sneek is a true waterside city, with the famous city symbol being the Watergate. In addition to water sports and the Sneekweek, you will also find culture, conviviality, and great restaurants in Sneek.

Terhorne

On the shores of the Sneekermeer lies the village of Terhorne, which means ‘on the corner.’ This watersports village is also known for the children’s book series ‘De Kameleon.’ There are many playgrounds and recreational facilities for children, making it a great destination for families as well.

Langweer

On the edge of the Langweerderwielen lies Langweer, an old village with a rich history. Especially in the summer, many tourists visit Langweer for the cozy atmosphere in the village and for sailing on the lake.
