You will also receive a household kit containing a rubbish bag, pedal bin bag, dishcloth, scouring sponge and a sachet of washing-up liquid.
The Linssen 33.9 Grand Sturdy is All-risk insured with an excess of €1,000 per claim.
The deposit for the boat is also €1,000.
The deposit must be paid before departure. You can arrange this in various ways:
– By IDEAL at the time of booking
– By bank transfer in advance
– By pin on the spot (unfortunately it is not possible to pay the deposit by credit/mastercard)
The deposit will be refunded within 5 working days after returning the boat.
In some cases, a passport, ID card or driving licence can be given as security deposit. In that case, you must sign for the fact that you give permission to keep the document as a deposit.
You can choose to buy off the excess. By doing so, you are fully insured for damages resulting from sailing and manoeuvring the boat. The amount of the waiver is 10% of the excess of your chosen boat.
Please note! When buying off the excess, good seamanship and good housekeeping are assumed. When deliberately damaging the vessel, the excess is always charged.
What is not covered by the excess waiver:
– Losing fenders or other inventory
– Running aground of the vessel
– Damage caused by intent or negligence*
– Damage to the interior of the boat
The costs of assistance by Ottenhome Heeg or professional salvage companies in case of running aground or in case of (engine) breakdown by other service providers, are for the account of the renter, unless the rental company has given prior permission for such paid assistance.
It is only possible to buy off the excess when the main booker and also skipper is 18 years or older.
